JCPRD Park Poster Project

I was selected to join a team of 4 Kansas City artists to create a poster design for the Johnson County Park & Recreation 2024 Poster Project. Each year, the JCPRD Art Program commissions a set of posters, rendered in a style inspired by the iconic 1930s Federal Art Project silkscreens. The other artists and I connected frequently to make sure all of our designs would play well together, with each of us limited to using only 9 colors in the final piece. I had a blast getting out to my assigned park, Stilwell, and exploring different viewpoints to represent it.

The final poster, along with the rest of the series, is available for purchase here. All proceeds support the JCPRD.
